In September its time to share perennials and collect seeds. If you are a gardener. So when I was invited to do a work in Alby in September this was my starting point for the project To share a garden. By collecting plants and mapping them with name and adress showing their earlier habitat a new garden is planned. The new place for this citizengarden is planted at Gula Villan, Alby. My project was a part of Agnes Fischers Future Garden. One of her and her collegue Sofie Nuyts focus was to inspired people to see the possibilities of growing your own food on small areas as your balcony.

My addition to the Future Gardens edible focus was my work Under control by Malin Lobell containing three mobile growing units with edible weeds:
Goutweed Aegopodium podagraria L.
Can be eaten raw in a salad or cooked like spinach.
ChickweedsStellaria Media
This plant has a lot of health benefits and is full of vitamins, minerals and other essential nutrients. Chickweed leaves are used by adding them raw to salads and sandwiches.
Nettle Urtica Dioica
Provides vitamin C, protein and many minerals including iron. Cook and use instead of spinach.
